Chocolate Fudge
This fudge is a mixture of textures. Simple to make yet has a rich mouthful.
Pour the hot liquid on a metal plate and let it cool completely.
Chop the walnuts and break the biscuits into large and small pieces.
Melt the butter add sugar, milk powder and cocoa powder cook for a min on low heat stirring continuously
Remove from heat and quickly mix in rest of the ingredients.
Flatten on a greased plate. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Ingredients
180 gms of Marie biscuits
4 tbsp cocoa powder
6 tbsp milk powder
6 tbsp sugar, powdered
1/2 cups walnuts
1/2 cup praline
5 tbsp melted unsalted butter
6-7 tbsp of warm milk
To make praline
Cook 1/2 cup sugar in a dry pan to caramelize it
Break with the back of a spoon into shards.
Chop the walnuts and break the biscuits into large and small pieces.
Melt the butter add sugar, milk powder and cocoa powder cook for a min on low heat stirring continuously
Remove from heat and quickly mix in rest of the ingredients.
Flatten on a greased plate. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Cut into squares.
Enjoy with a cup of tea or after a meal with vanilla ice cream!
