Italian Purple Grapes Cake
Easy bake Stunning cake!
Ingredients
2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar, powdered
4 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
zest of 1 lemon
pinch of salt
1 cup grapes, halved
Whisk together the eggs and sugar.
Mix in milk, vanilla essence, butter and oil. Gently fold in flour, salt and baking powder.
Add 3/4 of the grapes and lemon zest.
Pour the batter into greased pan and bake on low rack for 25 mins.
Remove from oven and arrange the remaining grapes on top and sprinkle some raw sugar and bake again for 10 mins or untill the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Enjoy with ice cream as dessert or with tea!
