Yogurt Bread Salad



 The first bite of the food is with our eyes! 
This stunning salad is basically a simple typical Indian salad or "kachumber" of cucumber, tomato and onion. A little effort can turn it into pièce de résistance.
Ingredients

For filling


2 medium onions 
2 medium tomatoes
1 cucumber, peeled
1/2 cup roasted ground nut powder
juice of 1/2 lemon
Green chili, sugar and salt to taste.



                    For layers

10 slices white bread
1 1/2 cups curd
1" ginger, grated
salt and sugar to taste

Method
Step 1: whisk together curd, ginger, salt and sugar.
Step 2: mix together the ingredients for filling. 
Step 3: line a container with cling film keeping some extra on both sides.
Step 4: trim the edges of the bread.


Step 5: Dip each slice in curd and cover the bottom and sides of the lined container.

Step 6: spread a layer of half of the salad


Step 7: cover the salad with a layer of bread dipped in curd


Step 8: spread the remaining salad and cover with bread dipped in curd

Step 9: cover with the cling film and refrigerate for minimum 1 hour
Step 10: unmold in a plate and garnish with ..... well, whatever you like.
 It will certainly be the highlight of  your dinner party,
