Dal Ke Kebabs

This recipe requires the kebabs to be baked and not fried. In case one prefers fried, it is advised to add fresh bread crumbs to the recipe. 
Ingredients
1 cup lentil (sabut masoor)
2 boiled potatoes, mashed
fresh coriander
1 tbspfinely chopped ginger
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
3 green chilies, slit lengthwise, veined and chopped finely
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
6 black pepper corns
seeds of 2 black cardamoms
5 cloves
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt to taste
Boil and drain the lentils. 
Lightly toast the spices and grind.
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients to form a dough.

 Shape into Kebabs, brush refined oil on both sides and bake in the microwave for 25 mins, flipping over once after 15 mins
Enjoy with a simple onion-tomato salad and green coriander chutney.
