Savoury Pancakes
Ingredients
¼ cup grated carrots
1 spring onion, finely chopped
¼ cup finely chopped pepper
1 egg
1 cup wheat flour
1 tbsp flax seed
1 tbsp sesame seeds
½ tsp baking powder
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup + milk
Mix all the vegetables and seeds together.
Whisk in the rest of the ingredients. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if needed to get dropping consistency is attained.
This batter will yield about 6 pancakes. Spoon batter on hot greased pan and cook for a min.
Flip over and cook on the other side too.
Enjoy with fresh yogurt spiced with tobasco!
